Terms of Use

Last updated November 2, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Stand Up Talent ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app or this website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Stand Up Talent.

1. Who can use Stand Up Talent

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. You're responsible for your account: give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. One person may have more than one account (for example a comedian account and a fan account), but you may not pretend to be someone else.

2. Your content

You own what you post: your profile, photos, bio, links, bookings, messages and recommendations. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show and share that content in the app and in promoting it, only as needed to run Stand Up Talent. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already shared it or we must keep it by law.

You confirm you have the right to post what you post, including photos and links to videos.

3. Community rules

Stand Up Talent is for comedy, so we expect edgy material in sets. Off stage, treat people with respect. You must not:

4. Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report a person or a specific photo, video or recommendation, and block anyone. Our team reviews reports. We may remove content, warn you, suspend your account for a period, or ban it, if we believe you've broken these terms or put others at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, email us.

5. Bookings, offers and payment between users

Stand Up Talent helps comedians, agents and venues find each other and organise shows. We are not a party to any booking or agreement between users and we are not an agent or employer. We don't guarantee that a show will happen, that anyone will be paid, or that any user is who they say they are, although we verify agents before they can send offers. Agree the details of any booking directly with the other person, and take sensible care when meeting people.

6. Venue and show information

Club and venue details come from our research, venues and users. We work to keep them accurate and show when each venue was last verified, but details change. Check with the venue before you travel or buy tickets.

7. Plans and payments

8. Ads

Free accounts see ads. Ads are provided by third parties, and we're not responsible for what advertisers offer.

9. Our app and brand

The app, its design, the venue list and the Stand Up Talent name and logo belong to us. You may use the app for its intended purpose; you may not copy, sell or reverse-engineer it.

10. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end your account under section 4, or if we stop offering Stand Up Talent. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 2, 11 and 12) still apply after your account ends.

11. Disclaimers and limits on liability

Stand Up Talent is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for anything other users do or post, or for bookings between users, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

12. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can try to fix it.

13. Changes to these terms

If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Stand Up Talent after that, the new terms apply.
